Wikiseek由维基百科推出的搜索引擎，站点在推出前就有过高度评价；据说可以与Google媲美的搜索引擎作为网络传播的热点，后来主要负责人出面澄清说法，不过依然保持关注。以Wikipedia作为数据基础的情况下，站点的确值得期待。主要界面和其他的搜索引擎相似，没有特别设计，似乎所有搜索引擎在界面设计上并没有本质区别，只是在颜色、输入框或者导航中稍微调整。Wikiseek主页有个特点，存在Digg It的连接，突出了自己的2.0特征。

搜索结果中加入AJAX技术，搜索结果信息显示速度不快的情况下，出现个别数据优先提示。界面设计存在Refine by category选择，这个选择根据输入框中的内容而来，并不是其他搜索引擎中以搜索结果关键词作为依据，方便用户搜索，而其他搜索引擎只能作为搜索结果附加提示而已。从目前使用体验来说，Wikiseek存在数据不足的问题，不过其中数据保持了高度真实效果，体现出高效率搜索应用。
