Picli是以图片为对象的Digg系统，通过对图片的评论和推荐来充实网站信息。和其他的文字Digg系统不通的是，本站通过利用图片本身明确的性质来吸引用户的注意。相对来说，图片和文字相比具有很多特征，其中明确的意思，不要理解，还有就是不受语言和区域的影响，虽然访问速度会有限制不过不会影响站点使用。当然图片和文字比较还有自己不足的地方，同样是文字方面，缺乏比较的文字支持，搜索引擎就比较不容易发觉这样的站点信息。
What we do
Picli revolves around a constantly changing gallery of quality creative content, created and edited by its users without editorial control. The main page features two galleries – the "showcase gallery" and the "upcoming gallery". The unpublished gallery contains work that has been recently added to the picli website – users can view these images and vote on which images they like. Picli then automatically works out which are the most popular images at any given time and moves these into the showcase gallery.
注册用户可以自由传输分享图片信息，发布的图片显示载主页右侧Upcoming中。用户可以对图片进行评论或者打分，可以为任意图片打分推荐。添加图片时可以选择图片性质，其中包括图片的标题、描述、来源地址、分类、标签以及发表图片后的信息反馈方式等等。通过对这些内容的填充来弥补文字不足的问题。注册用户可以获得独立的图片展示空间，可以通过图片中的发布人链接来查看发布人信息，还有个方法就是通过图片名称，其中图片名称标题-by-用户名，这样的方式来确定。
