Lexxe.com已经停很长一段时间了，这个号称是“第三代搜索引擎”的网站，因为服务器挂掉而一直停到现在。为什么称为第三代？在没有看到这个站点之前谁也不知道，只是通过各种评论和报道获得零零星星的概念。自从出来一个Web2.0以后，所有的地方都开始“升级”，这可能就是这个SE3.0的来源吧？谁知道呢。
升级或者其他的什么优势先不说，在大部分人还没看到网站长什么模样以前就因为服务器承受能力有限而出现：

Lexxe has encountered server problems, due to unexpected number of visits. It has been shut down for maintenance work from 12:37pm, Oct. 24th, 2005 [Australia Eastern Standard Time] and reopened 21:00-22:43, Oct. 24th, 2005.
